Computer clock

you know the lower right hand corner theres a clock right?
i set it at the current time and after 2 hours i checked, the time is late by 2hours!
how can i solve it? -

cannot be no battery, it will double beep at POST and ur clock likely wun move at all.
u can try entering BIOS setup when ur computer just turned on and change it there. -
Confirmed tat the battery low voltage. Change it lah. Easily available.

90% is due to low motherboard battery. 10% is due to others unknown factors.

whoa sht, how many years old is your computer ah? first time I heard of someone motehrboard no more battery I thought it usually can last like 10 years or more.

The battery should ideally be changed every 3 years... Unless there's unforeseen circumstances, the battery gets drained super fast, it could be faults of other kinds...

just unscrew the casing and look at ur mobo...should have something metallic and round on the mobo...take it out and look at it....should have a number beginning with "CR"...that would be the model number for the battery...go NTUC and get the same model and put it back on ur mobo...should solve ur problem...cost is around 5 bucks...
if U dun dare to unscrew...well...I am an expensive technician. -
The battery that's in the motherboard can last about 5 years in average. If nothing goes wrong, it may last more than 8 years which my P2 is.
