Torchlight and lazer pointer beam

  Hey i just wan to ask wether to see the whole beam of the light is it due to the dust particles in the air or is it to the power of the torchlight. Then is it the same for the beam from the lazer pointer? Sometimes i can see the whole stretch of the torchlight beam bt sometimes i cant , what about the lazer pointer? Like those in SAF guns and the gun used in Alien vs Predator

  To see the beam of the light, you'll need to have particles to reflect the light to see it. What about laser pointers?

  lasers are very concentrated light beams (correct me if i'm wrong) so it polly works in the same way as light beams. u need particles to reflect also

  saw dust does the job,but it's quite difficult to clean up after that

  Not really. Green lasers of 532nm wavelenght will have a visible light beam with or without dust or particles in the air. But they are very expensive. Arnd SGD200 for a <5mw laser pointer. 25mw and above pointers can cost up to a few thousands.

  Laser Pointers are dependent on their strength I think, not sure of the actual term. But, as it's also a light beam, from my understanding, it'll still requires dust to do reflection or at least smoke.

  Hmm then what? if i wan to see the whole beam of light then i just light some smoke or throw sawdust? ... lol...hmm so ex ah 100 plus..5 nm leh? see nothing ah? i saw recently at 5nm laser pointer

  I'll suggest you to use those smoke machines used at parties and disco.
