  Do you think National Service would have existed here? Cos if my history not hazy they were suppose to be incharge of our defence....while we may not have any NS, we will still have our own army, a professional one, what's ur views?

  For your info, The Colonial British had already started National Service back in 1954.. so National Service will still be around if they had not left.. Anyway they will not protect our country for long cause they are withdrawing east of Suez Canal.. So national Service will still be impose by LKY.
