I once considered buying it at Giant but before that I told the sales person to test a 'NO REGION' dvd. CANNOT EVEN PLAY!
The BEST dvd player is made from SAMSUNG. Can play any DVDs or even pirated ones very well.
Bottomline - If the player cannot even play smoothly a cheap disc/pirated ones...then DON'T BUY IT.
