  no, owls are extremely expensive to keep because of their diet and lifestyle, you cant put owl in a cage, you have to use an aviary. also owls want to eat things like rats, which you have to provide, live ones so that they can catch them like in natural environment. after digestion owls will spit out the parts that cant be digested, such as fur and bone, and you gotta clean that up. Harry Potter doesnt have a clue.

  I think you only see it in zoos, rather than pet shops. Anyway, I don't think you can keep them as pets.

  I agree, I like snow owl a lot & eagles too but predatorial animals/birds have wild instinct. It is torturous to chain or keep them in small confinement. Useless u have care taker & cage as big as those in bird park
