yea sort of..cos the main point of the CCA is to collect CCA points from going back to unit to help out in the trainings..
the extra activities of poly NPCC units are BBQs..etc etc.. just fun lah. -

npcc and ncc lidat one. on the surface gd intention, give u free uniform. but once u taken it, u will realise u've signed a 4yrs contract with them. so too bad, just suffer for 4 yrs lor.

I was also in NPCC (National Police Catch Cockroach) LOL! But i stop since entering poly.
I tell u, if u're a guy, joining a uniform group is the best opportunity to get a slight taste of wad life is like in the army, which is far worst.
Enjoy the CCA man. Cos u can learn alot from it.
Campcraft, leadership, responsiblity, etc.
If u still cant get use to it, try telling the teacher-in-charge.
I like this command(Not sure about the spelling though) - "Besu-rai!"
Or the super long sizing command.

i didnt go for my eca for my last 2 yrs and never kanna scolding.
some more they even still give me points for my eca. -
anw, of all the ug, npcc is the most unmeaningful one.
ncc - army
scout/guides - all-round
bb/gb - christianity
red cross/st john - first aid
while npcc is wearing police uniform, it's not doing police stuffs. sana? crime-prevention? scouts/guides also have. den come do campcraft which i dun think police need that skills. the main duty of police is to maintain law and order. npcc leh? still got ah bengs inside. wtf la. the closest police stuffs they do is perhaps gg lectures and learn theories? lidat may as well scrap npcc. -

so tell me, what police stuffs have u learned in npcc? catch thieves? solve crimes? go patrol in the neighbourhood? no? and den why are u wearing the police uniform? and police learn campcraft for what? police need to camp ar? if u're talking about setting up the 4-man tent for the dead often seen in the tv, can understand la. but do police really need pioneering?
