what is hard disk dumping?

  a guy told me,
  there's a BSOD when i dump the hard disk.
  
  but i forget to ask him wat error msg ..
  coz i also dont knw wat is dumping hard disk..
  so i just orgh...ok..

  something like he's trying to diagnose why the hdd failed by looking at the memory dump of the hard disk, but he can't cos he got a BSOD. so bo bian.

  might or might not. if BSOD then too bad, no ebidence of why ur hdd crashed.
