lava lamps bulb always fused

  6 mths i changed like 3bulbs liao,i nvr on whole day only like 6~7hrs max but they fused so easily. and btw im using a 40w quite a big one bah,lower watt the liquid won't move.....

  Must be the converter, or there isn;t any?

  Might be a manufacture defects with the Lava Lamp cause my friend's unit is still working well after 6 months, no changes of bulbs needed.
