Dont know true or not? But good to know.
A 10 year old boy, had eaten pineapple about 15 days back and fell sick, from the day he had eaten. Later when he had his health check done, doctors diagnosed that he had AIDS. His parents couldn't believe it.
Then the entire family under went for a checkup and none of them suffered from AIDS. So the doctors checked again with the boy if he had eaten out...The boy said "yes". He had pineapple that evening.
Immediately a group from Mallya hospital went to the pineapple vendor to check. They found the pineapple seller had a cut on his finger while cutting the pineapple, his blood had spread into the fruit. When they had his blood checked, the guy was suffering from AIDS. But he himself was NOT aware.
Unfortunately the boy is suffering from it now. -
Yes, chances of this happening may be remote but must never be ruled out or regarded with complacency.
Call it destiny, ass-luck, fate, and or retribution, either way you have it, they all suck. -

Seen this before, What to do if you bad luck eat contaminated food and your gum are bleeding so virus can enter through the broken gums.
My advise, maintain a proper dental regime then you had less worries.

Unless the hawker gets cut, blood drip onto the pineapple and boy eats immediately the blood stained pineapple.... -
we seriously need to educate ppl on how AIDS is spread......

But no proof that HIV has already evolved into a mode that does not require direct transfer of bodily fluids. As of now, HIV cant be spread by food air or water.
But there is always a chance in the future when the virus evolves -
