The world's biggest scam : Oil

  I know we aren't a country or a world for that matter, of complete morons. Oil companies use EVERY threat, whether manifested or not, as an excuse to jack up crude prices and, consequently, gasoline.
  
  This is the biggest scam in the world that continues to go on with barely a check until everyone screams and hollers. What if the same thing were to be done with wheat? Corn? Beef?

  here are now 3000 energy patents which have been classified, and that I considered it highly likely that there were some potentially very productive new sources of energy locked up in those 3000 patents.

  This article isn't dated, and I am wondering if this is true that there are classified enegry patients that are being hidden so that the current enegry barrons can keep their monopolies? If so, how long will they keep these new sources of enegry hidden?
  
  The article continues with 7 different stories on how enegry inventors have been threatened or killed so they will not develope their ideas any further. Story 4 is interesting about a chemist putting an in an additive that would allow water to be added to gas driving down the cost of gas to 2 cent a gallon.
  
  It is especially interesting in the light of this viedo from my local news station KDKA.

  Exactly what are the governments hiding? Have renewable, low cost, reliable enegry sources actually been developed, but have been kept from us? For how long? How much pressure do we have to put on the governments before they will let us know about these enegry sources, and how long will they hold it back until they can get it in the public's hands?
  
  It just makes me so angry that there is this type of cover up when we could already be using cleaner enegry sources.

  nono.....it's not so simple you see......the alternative energies, are more ex and take longer, and not practical, so it's not so economical to switch, compared to just taking oil.
  
  For instance, several bio-fuel would need us to plant so many acres and acres of corn or whatever the plant is, only for a few bottles of fuel, and then you need to modify also the car engine or whatever the engine running previously on oil.
  
  So it's not so practical. Not that easy.
  
  However economic principles also apply, for instance Brazil now is the biggest ethanol producer. Dont worry about no check and balance.
  
  The biggest problem isnt actually the oil companies, but speculators and hedge funds.
