stupid M1 ad in MRT

  dunno whether you guys noticed...I boarded two M1 themed MRT trains and thereafter its getting on my nerves, the stupid M1 jingle comes on after every station name announcement...
  
  Anyone feeling pissed ? With stupid train fares increasing already stressful enough, still must stress old man like me with more stupid ads....

  on since monday. one of them is train 113/114.
  
  heard it was much louder on the first day, then they turned the volume down to wat it is now.

  I also feel that this is the worst marketing way used by M1...
  
  At first, I thou it was some form of alarm testing... worst part is that they are doing it at every stop...

  ad purpose is oni to reach ppl
  good or ugly manner is not the issue
  for this case M1 won

  Toking about ads, who can forget about ads on Jack Neo movies that was broadcast on the platform display? The infamous 'bai lu li bai, hui bu hui kai' that was being play every 15 secs. That really make me want to throw something against the diaplay. And for a few mths, they kept play the mastercard ads feature the birdman, richard gere.
  
  If thery want to broadcast ads, why cant they show differnet kinds of ads? keep showing the same thing over and over and over again.

  From a business point of view, the marketing is eroding the goodwill of M1.
  Sure it reaches people.
  Now more people are irritated.

  I was gripping about it yesterday in Club 30's Jive Pad.
  
  Sure it promoted awareness but whatever good impression of M1 I have is now all gone coz it gave me a bloody headache and they are never going to get my business
