  Nah, I do go for a few locals like Little Creatures, Moo Brew, Beez Neez or (if I'm in a low-carb mood) Pure Blonde, but Hoegaarden Forbidden Fruit and Leffe Bruine are always welcome in my fridge.

  
  
  ..... The Thai make Chang and Singa beer, not bad though. Ohh yeahh pass me the Carlsberg beer anytime of the day. Those local beer you mentioned, i never heard of, are you from a different planet?

  ..... When i was in Australia i drank XXXX beer every day, i really like this brand. Do they have it Melbourne? I was told it is the local working class beer. I had met alot of Australian in Singapore, when i mention XXXX beer to them, they all seens to know about it. Unfortunately i can't find XXXX beer over here, Forster and Newcatle beer are easily available

  No, the brewers are raising their game these days, and the ones I've mentioned are examples of the new breed.

  ..... That's cool... i will try to look out for some of the brands you had mentioned. Once a while there are "Australian" products' fair held by some of the supermarkets over here, hopefully can get hold of them
