Do we really need a driving licence?

I been thinking..do we all really need a driving licence?
I know pple with parent's owning cars sure need or pple does tot of buying a car too..But how does this affect pple of not having a car and nv tot of buying a car in future?
I mean..having a car in sg is soo expensive and not that ideal too. And for a person looking for a job, does the interviewer takes a person with a car licence more seriously comparing to a person without?
i am now learning my class3. Stopping for 3 mths as was v bz in my work..going to search for jobs soon. My mum say having a licence will helps me alot for it. I abit sianz too..learing means spending $$ and well..i not sure does a driving licence will helps me too... -
not compulsory but good to have.
but i prefer 2 wheels. -

but then hor, thanks to people in white, now those born after 1989 are allow to take their license after 21years old. lucky my citizenship is malaysia (a permit resident here), so i can go back malaysia and take license over there and change it over here -

Driving is a skill. U will need it sometime .. somewhere in your life.

you may not appreciate it now, but one day when you see the need, you'd get impatient to have one. so might as well take your time and learn it now.

I heard that employers prefer someone with a license than someone without one. No matter what, i feel that having a license is nonetheless important. Whether or not, u buying a car in the future is another matter.

Good to have la.. Last time i oso find it unneccessary but now it seems quite useful, esp if so happen that my frenz are drunk, can help lor..

yes its very imprtant that u have one....driving is a skill...when u go for holidays u can always drive a car...eventually if u cant find a job...u can always be a taxi driver
