My hamsters quarrelling

I got 2 hamsters, one female and one male...they are always lovingly together one, sleep and eat together. However yesterday night these 2 hamsters started fighting for no good reason. Now the male one keep himself in his house while the female on the wheel. They both just dunwan come down and meet each other. I worry the male cos he haven eaten since yesterday, any suggestions?

get a different female

separate them...
get a new cage to put the female in.. and get ready for delivery of pups...
when delivered, put a load of food and water, and put in quiet corner of the house, and put a cloth over to make it dark... don't succumb to the temptation to peep for a couple of weeks...

i had about 7/8 hamsters before
2 died when i was 12
another 2 was parents to their child but the male just died and the female also died
the babies died too
all thanks to me, because I was having so much fun with my PC and PS and puppy. I didn't care about them
thats why I promised myself not to have small animals that will have difficulties getting my attention
by right the babies shouldn't die, but because my friend told me that if the mother die before the babies were of certain age, they wouldn't survive so before consulting anyone, i threw them down the rubbish chute
I try not to think about it but still get guilty from it

i think the female shouted the wrong name while the male was humping her. now the male is in serious depression.

How to know that the hamsters are quarrelling? Did they make lots of noises and verbal remarks?

You should have thrown the friend who told you that the babies can't survive if the mother died too early down your flat . Comeon lar if you really have the heart to keep hamsters you should have thought of using small syringe to feed them milk or water lar . My advise to whoever said that ar , please please please DUN KEEP PETS you will be doing more harm then gd . And my dear friend , next time if you meet such case agn , ask pple for help . Their life is the same as our lives , do you anyhow throw a living baby down the rubbish bin ? Just hope you don't make the same mistake agn . How do you feel if i throw you down a rubbish bin when you were a baby just because noone able to look after you ?

last time i got hamsters too, few months ago...
1 of the hamster keep bullying the other hamster.. 1 fine day, the hamster that got bullied cannot take it, buay tahan liao, and bite that big bully hamster to death -

I think is the female hamster suspect the male hamster having an affair.
Maybe the male hamster raped the female hamster.

You should get one female and one male hamster.
