He told me he was returning to Israel that weekend. Incidentally, that was just a week after a bomb exploded in a cafe, right where he stays.
Naturally I asked why he wants to return to Israel now? Why not later, when it is more peaceful? His answer was simple. I remembered what he said. "Israelites don't fear. When Israelites need to return to Israel, they return whether the country is safe or not because if we don't, we are scared and when we are scared, that's when we have lost."
So what turns your country into your home? Why the difference? And is the difference important?
