Finally I must agree. Although primary school experience had taught me all national songs sounds disgusting, this one is really a nice piece. One you can actually sing along.

this year national day i heard a bit of it on the ndp show, they adapted a part of it into 'count on me singapore'... then it caught my attention...
then last night they got kit chan to sing exactly the same song on s'pore idol.... everybody in the audience also sang along... so did dick lee... he was so proud and happy... -
if i not wrong, this song should be 2002 one. i firsy heard the chinese version, by Liang Wen Fu. Chinese song lovers should know him. I prefer the chinese version. very meaningful and touching. if i not wrong again, this should be the first song created by pop song writers since government decided to use pop song as a national day birthday song to appeal to the public.

wah, the song its like yesterday.. so far i like this song most. maybe its the first song, so it holds more sentiments and closer to the heart.
I always feel Kit chan has a very clear and powerful voice. She wont lose to stephanie sun when singing live, but she lacks of star face and luck, maybe..
