need help with chinese software

  I tried copy and paste some chinese characters..
  
  unfortunately.. when i copied it.. the clipboard showed question marks even though i have NJ star communicator..
  
  what is the problem and what other software can i use to solve this problem??
  
  anyone can help me with this?
