If the population grows and grows like gays never existed at all, I dont think we will be existing now, because i believe the Earth's resources would have already depleted centuries ago. Over reproduction is bad but that's our natural gift. Just like our immune system is good for our body but under a certain circumstances and bacteria, our human responses could have a fatal consequence.
All these things reproduction etc etc is for the well being and for the good of our species and our survival. Aren't the thread starter asking if it is RIGHT OR WRONG!? Then I guess in all mainstream opinion its Wrong to be a gay. It doesn't means they can't do things their way or have the rights to do so.

2) Homosexuality is a way to adjust the situation for over population? That is just bullshit. The reasons why we are overpopulated simply because, our species had evolved under this circumstances over the many thousands of years. We are customised to survive from extinction. Survive from all kinds of sickness etc. Why don't you read up about evolution theory abit.(although I'm not a favourite fan of darwin) Using homosexuality is a bloody excuse. Homosexuality serve no purpose for the well being of our species. And most of the time is a by product of a abused, twarted individuals. Who suffered emotional tramas or misleaded sexually.
Our decision and emotions are much based on our experieces. -

I am gay but this is not my choice. Whether or not some people become homosexuals because they are traumatised, abused and misleaded... I do not know. I myself came from a great loving family but why did I turn out different? If I had a choice I would give ANYTHING to be normal.. in fact MOST of us wants to be normal but it is not up to us to decide is it?
It is so fucking easy for people to judge but what if YOU were in our position? My parents for example.. what am I going to tell them? That I'm gay and they have no hopes of having any grand children? Or to my friends? Will they accept me if they found out? Man.. there is so many things to worry about on top of other mundane nonsense in life it down right SUCKS. So please.. please don't judge because that conservative brain of yours cannot begin to understand.
Whether homosexuality is nature's way of population control only god knows so there is no point discussing it.
And BTW a word of advice, try to be more open minded about such things because whether you like it or not there will be gay people around you -- be it at work or at school and if you react the way you write then your just gonna offend lots of people. -
Gays are humans too.. If you find them disgusting or wrong, thats fine as you are entitled to your opinions, and my own opinion is that you are damn naive and you are the wrong product of nature.
Sadly, not everyone can accept them as who they are so readily. It's a mentality that many have grew up with. For the ones with religions, of course homosexuality is wrong but it is equally wrong for us to not acknowledge them.
In Singapore, I don't think it is lawfully wrong. Just not too accomodating enough for the gay population... -

banzie to answer ur question, yes there are gays in animals be it fish, mammal, birds insects whatever, there are GAYS.

People don't get me wrong. I don't openly condemn homosexuality. But i don't understand why some guys in clubs have to let me know they are gay. It's increasingly irritating, not to mention a turn-off...anyone watched Irreversible? One day, if some faggot comes on too hard, i might have to bash his head in with a fire extinguisher too.
