infrared help , please

I know infrared is kinda outdated, but no choice as my hp supports infrared only.I am using samsung phone
I got a problem with transferring pics frm my HP to e computer and vice versa.
When i transfer pics frm comp to hp , an error states "An error OCCURED WHILE WIRELESS LINK WAS CONNECTING TO OTHER DEVICES.nO CONNECTION COULD BE MADE COS E TARGET MACHINE ACTIVELY REFUSED IT"
bUt when i select the pics frm hp [ wif infrared activated ] , i select e pic frm my HP but it only can send via MMS? so anyidea how 2 send it.??
please help me,please please!!

There will definitely be some problems transferring files to HP from computer.
But you should have no problems transferring files from HP to computer.
I don't know how a Samsung phone works, as I have never used it before. But I think this instruction should work, just modify it to suit your phone. Don't enable infrared before sending any files. Let the phone enable it automatically for you. If it doesn't, enable it before sending files...
Go to your file and select Option.
Select Send. It will bring you to a new menu.
Select Send by infrared. Put it near the infrared device of your computer and see if it transfers. -

if really cannot then get someone who has bluetooth AND infrared and send everyth to his/her phone via bluetooth or data cable.
Then send to your phone by infra-red.

u need to on your infra red in your phone... cos by defult, its off.
when in the period of time when ur phone infra red is on, it should be sensitive to infred signals

I switched on my HP the infrared already , den i place it near my computer.
any idea if any places helps pp wif infrared prob? i doubt so righT? -
y don't u use ur data cable instead? its much less a hassle as of compared to using infra.
samsung don't provide a cable for u for nothing leh.
infra is considered to be very unstable liao. pairing the 2 infra sensors together and then keeping it at that position is not easy. -

hmm... i heard frm others tt even if my HP gt e infrared thing (but wen i select a picture , it only has send via MMS and no send via infrared) Means even if HP gt infrared sensor not necessarily means can send via infrared?
THen my HP guide states , send by infrared???!?!
ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!????????????!!!!!!!

Pictures from HP can be sent to PC via infrared, at least it works for nokia 7200 paired with a lap top. but seriously use a data cable which comes together with ur phone when u bought it. y use infra red when u got fast transfer rate using a cable.

if im not wrong, samsung phones or certain samsung phones cannot infra files to pc or laptop de.
coz i ever went to samsung service centre with my dear before.
and their staff are so lousy, very poor product knowledge. -
omg. hw 2 check if my phone can infra nt?
