My com got sound prob help

  The speakers can be switched on but no sound.I have just installed this computer yesterday.I am using windows xp, which directory must i go to to activate the sound.Thanks

  Are your speakers plugged in? (The phone jack with headphone icon)

  check whether soundcard gt install anot. sometimes fresh installation the toopid xp never install ethernet controller n soundcard.
  
  den check ur speaker gt plug in properly, stick into ur mp3 player to test test.
