Jus received this call from some lady of god noe their company's name.. cAn't be bothered to listen..
It has been the 2nd time they've called..
The 1st time, my mother gave an excuse that they are goin out.. Not free.. (2 Entertain tis bo liao call!)
They R callin abt some survery regarding awareness of security, blah blah blah.. We are not promotin or selling etc.. Jus doin a survey..
Told her politely tat.. We are not interested to do tis survey.. She cont.. Blah blah blah.. R u above 25? Nope.. she says.. Is ok.. We want to ask ur parents. I say.. It's ok.. They R not interested.
She: How do u noe they are not interested? You're not them!
WTF!!!
I replied. You already called once b4..
She: Ya.. Your parents say they were goin out. So they goT record yeah.. I almost 4got.. Tat's my mum excuse..
& guess wat.. She hang up jus like tat!!!!
I shld hang up 1st.. Nx time.. I gonna mak sure i slam the phone!!!
@ least i noe.. She started off with, hi, gd afternoon.. tis is jenny here.. ETc.. i Can't catch..

There was once a surveyor called me too.
He didn't identify himself and asked if I was free at the moment.
I asked who was that on the other line, and what was the purpose of the call.
He DID tell me he was doing a survey, but then he asked me if I was working.
Upon finding out that I was still studying, he gave a super lame excuse:
"SORRY WRONG NUMBER" and hung up immediately. -
Does Singapore have a Do-Not-Call registry or is it against the law to cold call/junk call?

"Is this toll-free? I don't have free-incoming."
"Could you please speak very slowly? I'd like to write down everything."
"Sorry, I think YOU've called the wrong number."
"Will you let me ask you a few questions first? This is for my school's PW assignment."

After the person complete everything, I tell him that I'm not working and how could I have won a Credit Card lucky draw? He gave an excuse it's wrong number and hung up. -

Then when I asked WHICH TOUR AGENCY they said they could not reveal as they are only a third party. I probe and probe in all sorts of ways and they still refused to tell.
In the end I said okok I'll go. And I didn't. -

next time let them talk 1st if they are saying doing survey u say this is SAF/MINDEF unit and they will say sorry and hang up quickly

next time if they call then u reply : "huh, li kong simi??" if they switched to hokkien then u reply "wad did u just say??" then if they switched to english then u reply "ni shuo se mer??"
