AT and Sennheiser are better then Sony and Panasonic. But you must know which to buy depending on the songs you are gonna listen. Like you want more Bass or what..
But both of them are usually more ex then PanaSony.. lol.. -
Get Shure's earphone.

hmm... i heard is there ani noise cancelling ear phones??? heard that UM series are gd but cost a bomb...hundreds.. so id there ani ear phones that provide noise cacelling features or similar thx

there are those type of ear studs looking type of earphones, they cost around 60+ and can cancel out noise.

try hardwarezone forum, go under portable media player.
there's also sgheadphones.net, but the discussions generally cover higher-end stuff.
it's hard to say what is better. depends on personal preference and budget.
so far i've kept my earphones purchases below $50. creative ep630 and cresyn e630 (korean). both are canalphones.
i've tried these sennheiser px100 headphones which came free with my samsung player purchase, and they do sound good. just that they don't provide sound isolation, and they mess up my hair, so i gave them away. this is in the $60-$80 range.
for audio-technica, the ck-7 has been praised by many. this comes under the low $100 range. the lesser range from audio-techinca is seldomed mentioned, so you know what i mean.
if you are ready to invest, there are many brands to look into. my humble experience in reading up spells westone, shure, ultimate ears, etymotic. these are all in-ear monitors.
headphones: grado, sennheiser, koss, audio-technica, beyerdynamic -
audio tech is pretty good.
i got mine from best denki.
currently i'm using bang & olufsen,
bought on the plane. -
