B+ Blood Type Platelet Donors Needed Urgently.

I am new here, ain't sure if i am allowed to post this here or where. actually i dun even if it is right to post this.
but yea, if i am in the wrong, Moderators kindly remove this topic then.

I have a friend's father who have just finish undergoing his chemotherapy for Leukemia (AML). Therefore, he would need platelets transfusion soon to enable his blood to resume the procedures of clotting blood. This is due to the chemotherapy that actually destroys off all the cells in his blood. His blood type is B+ and so I am only seeking for those whose blood type is the same as him.
I hope that those B+ blood type, would be able to help my friend. I ain't sure how many people is needed but i believe the more the better. Every single effort is greatly appreciated by all of us.

I believe some tend to hesitate to donate to strangers.. me too..
I didn't know them till yesterday when i went down to SGH for the blood test to see if i am eligible. And now i just wanna help them out with whatever i can. so yea =) hope you too can help me. It's saving a life tt's matter.

I think he can accept O+ blood too...
After all O+ is universal donor right? -
No, He can only use B+ Platelets,
so O blood cant be used at all.
Only B+ is allowed -
