  My friend owns one, the passport number is different from the IC no. and the photo page is a card like the IC.

  Probably makes it harder to produce counterfeit passports. The technology was so new that my friend had some difficulty passing customs.

  I heard unless u going to US, need not get it for the next few year....... so i wait lor . Why pay extra for same use of passport ???
