Because whenever he opens his eyes and is not wearing his visor or Red Sunglasses, his eyes will project a beam of optic blast, right?

his eyes nvr project laser when he wear red sunglasses ... which means as long as he only sees red .. no laser .. so he just has to put the eye drop in a room with red lights..

2 methods:
Dangerous Way: In X-1, Jean Grey redirected Cyclops laser beam towards Magneto, she can help redirect the laser beam while Cyclops apply eye drops.
Safe Way: In X-3, there was this boy (locked in the white room one) who has the ability to temporary disable mutant power. So Cyclops can stand near the boy and apply eye drops -
