im also from ITE to Poly..Originally posted by uorme99:Hi all, i am a poly graduate who plan to take part time Uni. one thing that worries me is that my maths (e.g differentiations and integrations) is not strong as i am a student frm ITE to POLY. any suggestion on how to improve it? Plan to take up mechanical engineering course, any seniors here? thanks alot to all.
I am frm em3 to N(T) then ITE(ntc2) then ITE(itc) then poly lo. plan to study mechanical engineering part time but i heard maths super tough tats why need to buck up from now. Thanks for the replies. any seniors studying mechanical engineering?Originally posted by browniebaobao:im also from ITE to Poly..

wat course u taking? Need maths de ar?
I'm taking business studies but I still can cope with accounts and statistics leh.

Duh, Engineering maths is different from statistics maths lah!! Not that I am putting you down. The question is that you need to understand calculus well enough to understand changes in forces and time/space. At times, I still may be confused about time/space changes.Originally posted by browniebaobao:im also from ITE to Poly..

hi there, thanks for the info.Originally posted by freakass:I am doing mechanical engineering in the university now... you dont need a lot of maths actually... except the first year where they require you to take basic engineering maths... after that, the maths you use will be very basic but your physics must be good... u will see differentiation and integration, but not a lot, unless you want to do electrical engineering...
share the quickies pls?Originally posted by BufPuf:integraton and differentiation is fun!
practice loh
got a lot of 'quickies' which my lecturer taught us..I am a biz student btw..
but once u understand and apply the quickie
it's simple!
wah i have to go scan lehOriginally posted by Xcert:share the quickies pls?
