  Far east organisation had a "Name the new shopping mall contest at Somerset", and the winner stands to win $8888.
  
  After all the hype and excitement, and how it is going to be a new landmark, with interesting shops and architecture... they name it ORCHARD CENTRAL.
  
  Reminds me of the naming of new budget terminal contest. What's the point of having a contest to gather suggestions from the public when ultimately they stick to something safe and BORING like...

  malaysia also following our example.
  
  ever since Bintang Walk became famous, all kinds of Walk's came along. same with Suria KLCC.
  
  and now, from KL Sentral, we now have Melaka Sentral.
  
  so we're not that bad.
