They only scan the luggages there. -

Anyone know in what way it is banned? I have a feeling it is banned because the rifles might be considered to be replicas of real weapons. After all, Paintball guns are not banned.
In the UK, the law is that a weapon that is capable of firing something that exceeds a certain amount of energy is illegal. I do not think there is an equivalent law in Singapore but am not sure. -

Mind you airsoft is not illegal in Singapore. There is a club for it and you'll find it if you do a bit of searching. It's very restrictive though so not many people are really keen into it, thus remaining unpopular up till now. -
Yes, Airsoft is just a controlled item, NOT BANNED.
There's club which allows you to play them, but cannot bring them back.
It's also not allowed to be brought in mainly it's almost a replica of the actual arms. -

I still remember at Some shopping centre there...They used to sell M4A1 Carbines, Ak-47's, M1911, Pump actions Shotguns, Spaz 12.
Just tell the auntie you wanna see the merchandise then she will take out show you... still remember she showed me the AK-47, was 3/ 4 replica size... Can be broken down and kept in a specialised case... -
Went Thailand and saw a Sig 550 Semi Auto Sniper Rifle...Gas Operated... Some guys were playing around with it in some shopping centre...That thing shot through an apple Boy !
