  i try continue the ending.. is it the 2nd machine supposely failed but the video recording was more than 30mins, the 2nd machine was built in japan?

  Species I and Species II, first movie where alien DNA is inserted into a human embryo and second movie where 3 people are sent to Mars to collect soil samples but took back an alien instead.

  It's very nice. the CG at that time is state of the art. expecially the machine thingy. damn cool.

  But the ending in the movie is different from the book.

  i strongly tink it is CONTACT. She was in outer space where the whole place was full of life and colours, den she saw her dad or something, but when the came back to earth, they technicians found it strange that thought she been inside of half an hr, the recording shown 10 hrs recording of static

  Actually she fell straight right through the machine, only a few seconds.
