Which cinema is nearer to East Coast / Katong ?

  Just wondering which cinema is near to East Coast / Katong area ?
  Is it Bedok or Tampines ?
  
  Anyone to enlighten ? Is there any other cinemas ?

  definitely bedok (but why u wan to go there), bugis (no-no too), suntec or PS.

  Bedok's cinema is called Princess, it's closer than the one at Tampines, but not as good.

  Ohh.. It's because afternoon promise to go movie with a friend, but night time i need to attend a BBQ in east coast so i want to find a cinema nearby.

  Actually Singapore is not that big, I'd recommend Suntec or Beach road, you'll reach East Coast in 15 mins by bus.

  Apperently.. east siders don't really like to catch movies on the east.. if you draw a line down cutting at Bugis . the only presentable cinema in the east is at Tampines (Century and TM). Bedok have 1G cinema (Princess).. so no count... Pasir Ris (White Sands) and Simei (East Pt) close shop already..dun have in Punggol and Sengkang...
  
  Good news is apparently another cineplex will spring up soon at Downtown East

  as far as i noe, ppl stay tampines refused to watch movies aniwhere else other than tampines...
