  A couple of those i know who do and teach part time eventually become full time teachers or lecturers.

  Yes, teaching is an art in itself and involves many skills. Not everyone who's good in any particular field or discipline can teach. But sadly, nowadays it does seem that those who have the expertise and the knowledge don't want to teach, but those who lack the expertise and knowledge want to teach.

  in anycase its not true that only noobs teach. my civics tutor got a first class from imperial and he topped his class there for like 2 out of the 3 years he was there? same story with loads of teachers in sg these days. they're smart and committed and sure as hell could be making a shit load working outside of the civil service
  
  but then they're always fucktards that cant teach for shit and have damn bad attitudes, but which profession is perfect anyway.

  I disagree. Maybe some teachers aren't that good. But I believe there are those with passion in teaching.
  
  I don't know, I feel like defending for the teachers. Especially the ones I respect, you know how much patience teachers have to put in to teach us. Especially teachers who tried hard to keep the lessons interesting and those who always are willing to help the students? Oh, when I mean teachers, i also refer to lecturers.

  I know why. Lessons become fun when the lecturers share experience or talk about the industry. Unfortunately the longer u teach, the more distant you get..
