i think u misread my messege or i wrongly wrote it..but what i meant was that metal is NOT improvisation but all planned which makes it so technical as they come up with such complicated rythm and structures and they manage play it with superb precision...and i doubt u will be able to find a song which is all double pedalling.Originally posted by TwinTurbo_Supra:You call metal drumming improvisation? When i listen to metal drumming I can't feel any groove. Go listen to funk drummers then you know what improvisation means.
i admit some really technical metal arent that nice in terms of tune but im always in awe at their compatibility and skills which require years, maybe decades of practice to be where they are now!!
anyway we're veering off topic!! can someone provide more details for metal drumming lessons!!! -
its reali hard to find ppl who are willing to teach metal drumming.
