I am going to Krabi, in a dilemna on which hotel to book.
anyone who's been there, can give some suggestions?

krabi is much cleaner and better than phuket.
But more expensive in terms of hotel and tours...esp during peak season!
When will u be going? If off-peak, most hotels are below $80/night range. While peak season, all hotels are ABOVE $80/night.
You might wish to read up on www.virtualtourist.com if u wish to go on a budget and stay "home stay" or real budget.

just went krabi in june ..

Quite a nice resort.. clean rooms, simple breakfast.. friendly staffs..
The beach there is not very fantastic.. ermm.. sorry to say this .. but i find that sentosa has got clearer water ah ..
But, do remember to get a island trip that cost roughly SGD40.. It's a MUST! Duration around 6-8 hrs depending which type of package.... that is very very worth it.. it'll bring u to island around krabi.. and also to phi phi island.. the water is very very clear...
Other than that, there's nothing much to explore on the island.. the food is not very cheap.. each meal average SGD10...
