09/11... five years later.

It just felt like yesterday when 9/11 happened, i still remember the very day i switched on CNN only to watch live the 2nd plane hitting...
But i just felt the world is a different place now, you find it hard to trust strangers.
people can't seem to trust you that easily.
ppl are more kiasee. every little thing you do, there's always someone saying, "nowadays not safe, better put some security measures".
We must always stay on guard.
There is no day on TV where you watch news they did not mention Terrorist.
War in Afghan and Iraq, first started out to sound like a crusade to eradicate evil. It is now just a stupid drag where ppl get killed every few days and just sems their purpose in those cuontries seems pointless and aim unachieve...
hmm this are the thoughts I have in mind now and how I reflected the past 5 years....
I would want to hear out what fellow forumnites think.... -
Selfish desires? Mis trust? Unable to love? That is perhaps what seperates us all. We all live on one planet and we are fighting amongst ourselves. Imagine got alien network broadcasting our squibbles, sure they will laugh.

Yah still remember watching it "live" on TV. Very surreal. Took a while before it came to me that it is a real event. Very sad and shocking to see skyscrapers crumbling to nothing. I cannot foget that moment. And thats the day my grandma passed away, but in a totally unrelated way that is.

I saw the towers crumble before my eyes, and from that moment on, I knew there would be war and a clash of civilisations.
Today, I find more unity and trust between people of the same circle as more of us feel the need to cooperate and put aside our differences, and to continue dialogue as it is the only channel that can hopefully prevent more clashes of cultures. -
when the towers crumble... it just did not register in my mind...
i just thought the top of the building fell off. Then when CNN's ticker put "North Tower collapsed", I was thinking CNN used the wrong word as i thought "collapsed" would mean the entire building...
it took me the whole day to figure out where the building went. haha.. only later in the day some Engineer on CNN explains that the heat probably weakened the whole building did I realised... "oh, the building DID collapse"
but seriously.. it just seems like an unhappy world out there now..
i think we felt more care-free before this. -
and on one level, it seems that those terrorists have won a small battle, because they were attacking our way of life..

i still remember a lady, i think, fell off the building got captured on camera.. she went "AHHHHHHH!"

the war on terror can never be won unless all grievances can be resolved
the US might have successfully invaded afghanistan and iraq, but look at the suicide bombings that takes place everyday
i would think it is a complete failure and that victory is not in sight -

Planted some controlling devices to override the main flight controls
Even better this way...don't need for terrorists to be on board...just let the remote control auto pilot the plane to crash -
have u guys watched loose change? a documentary about the conspiracy theory of 911...absurd it may seem...but it makes a lot of sense too

when it happen, couldn't believe my ears 1st.......was thinking who could be so dumb to fly into a building.
later couldn't believe my eyes, how WICKED some pple can be. What pains me most are those above the crash zone & nothing could be done to save them.......imagine waiting to die

have you seen this footage where many ppl were jumping to their deaths when the building was on fire? It was really sad..choosing either to burn to death or jump 100 storeys high
