No I think Romans will win most prob... SImply if everything is equal then its the army to determine the different.... 1) Both leaders have equal amount of men.
2)Neither sides could call for re-inforcements.
For me, I think Sun Tze will win as he is a better strategist.
Also, the Chinese weapons, Chariots and horses seem better than the Roman ones.
Lastly, I think the Chinese soldiers are better trained in combat.
What do u all think?

How about Zhuge Liang vs Sun Tze...
It seems as though Zhuge Liang is probably the greatest military strategist around...
Anyway, I think Julius Caesar will win through Turtling through the arrows and using their high tech Arty/Siege weapons...

then we can start to analyse:
1). Did Julius Caesar have muskets or range weapons then? Did Sun Tze have that too? Do both know the ways to use fire, rocks, and weapons of mass destruction?
2). Tactics: Under all historical cases, did Caesar won battles by sheer numbers, or by tactics? or by luck as in favorable weather, etc? How about Sun Tzu, any historical cases, where he won using a smaller army?
3). How about side advisors? Soldier's constitution, endurance, tactics, determination, etc?
4). Which general is better at what terrain? Are both equally good at clear and wide grassfields? How about hilly, mountanious, or jungle terrain? -
Chinese's missile and seige weapons are more advanced than Romans, if not more advanced than the medieval european's arms, and as I said earlier, Chinese troops are as heavily armoured and well equipped as a Roman legionary, and the chinese crossbow (proven by a reconstructed device) have no problem at all penetrating iron armour plates, usually worn by Roman legionary. 1). Sun Tzu precedes Liang, so Liang would have read all the historical battles and strategies of Sun Tzu
2). Liang knows how to play qin to scare off large armies of CaoCao, Sun Tzu dunno if he know such extreme tactics or not, or if he knew how to play musical instruments.

Different strategy... Romans have javelins too remember... Romans strength is in its infantry whereas Han is on the cavalry...Even the calvary are not as well armoured as the roman solder.. Han soldier needs to get past to Ply wood shield if he uses his crossbow... Crossbow are particularly short range... Therefore at short range... javelin and cross bow are evenly matched... Han archer and foot soldiers are lightly armed.
I would think that han's advantage is its flexibility and mobility... Therefore they will never fight a stalemate fight in a even ground. Where in this case terrain is not a factor... as the conditions had stated. But only uses mobility and terrain... Someone mention the number... That's doesn't include in this case consideration...
And btw Sun tze is not in han dynasty... Sun Tze expertie has to do more than just some tactical battles... He had covered more in terrain, morale, war in a marco level therefore in this case it's not fair to him in anyway considering...
