Last night, my friends and I went to Toa Payoh central Kbox. There are 3 of us, I ride my bike there and park at HDB hub. As it was already 1am, the Kbox was about to close so we decided to leave the place, 1 of my friend who were staying at Toa Payoh and we decided to stay overnight at his place. So the 3 of us went on to collect our bike, as I do not wish to leave any of my friends behind, I then push my bike and walk with them. While pushing less than 10m away, a patrol police car stopped us, there are 3 of them. They ask what are we doing and even assume the bike which I push was a stolen want. The police even asked for my bike keys, insurance and driving license. I showed them everything but I did not display my probation plate as I have not cleared from the date I pass my TP which is in Nov. When the police begin question me, I was extremely panic and without even think I told them that I dropped it. They then took down all of our particular and even ask for our phone number. So my question is, can the police called the TP down and fine me for not displaying the p-plate?
Just wait and see loh. Technically they can't fine you cos you are not riding the bike on the road, so if they DO call you, you can sort of appeal on this ground.
