those "opponents" you mention are stunt men performing well rehearsed scenes for a movie....unless you've seen him fight in tournaments? -

Plots to be aware:
1) Plot 1
Always a reason for him to do indiscrimate killings on the baddies because of thier brutal slayings of his wife/kids/goodfriend/Innocent chick/Stabbed in the back.
2)Plot 2
Anyone not WITH steven seagal or a 100 metre radius is bound to crock it.Anyone staying WITHIN 100 metre radius of him ALWAYS survives.
3)Plot 3
Almost NEVER gets hit in the face.. besides the movie The Rising Sun. Which he got face kicked by a kung fu paikia tao.
his movies = BAD but i just gotta watch it to see what BS he churns out.. he he. Rambo n Arnold will beat him face down. Oh.. and Vin Diesel too.. will break him.

One thing about Aikido - I can never understand or even see where the black belt guy touches the opponent before he's on the floor!
I thought of taking up Aikido long ago, but decided I better not risk breaking my already damaged spine! -

His moves are REAL though...with Akido fused with Jujitsu.
