Afraid of balloons?

Erm anyone here are afraid of balloons? especially when they POP!!! ? Plastic bags wrap n pop oso can. I had been afraid of balloons since i was young, can't help it. Everytime c children squeeze, kick, punch, make the 'brop brop' sound, want to burst it, sit on it, etc , me feel very scared, feel lyk the 'bomb' going to explode liao. Anyone got that experience?

Actually hor... me too lor. I get startled by sudden loud sounds.
I dunch lyk those CNY thing u throw on the ground and PIAK damn loud that kind. I hate it!!!!!

I'm not really scared of baloons, maybe I just get a little startled when a balloon pops, but that's it. My church youths on the other hand, seem to be terrified of balloons, both the guys and girls. Once we were decorating the lift lobby for Christmas, a balloon up on the 3rd floor burst, and the girl whom I was working with screamed!

But im not afraid of balloons when i cover my ears TIGHTLY, and step on it(take revenge!). but its embarrasing to cover your ears outside your home just because of the stupid balloons! Anyway "sermodabian", those that you see are the so called bomb bags. Dey are so F**king loud. My cousin ke kiang walk towards it WITHOUT covering his ears, then it popped, then he say eh gor(his bro, not me) i cannot hear properly.
We even sometimes threw the things at each other, but its "dangerous". I hate the feeling of being startled, i feel lyk as if i have fits or duno what disorder.
I hate the long balloon the most, so annoying!

hey anyone here likes to play wif 'bomb bags' ? i tink they are a waste of money, but they are quite fun, especially wen u throw dem down a building, or throw upwards.

hey, i did a small research and found out that im not the only one who's afraid of balloons! It's a common phobia, think known as gyrophobia? Im actually afraid of sudden loud noises( i love loud engine noises, especially the armys' tank's engine), such as a gun firing, balloon popping, door suddenly slam shut. whatever. Especially balloons, they make me go nuts! Whenever i walk straight and suddenly sees a balloon, i would turn around and walk the other way. I don't know why, its a common reaction for me. Im very ultra scared when there's balloons in the hands of a children on a bus/MRT!!! They will pop so loud that i might get a heart attack! I also might curse the thing that suddenly scares me, including objects and parents. One time when i enter the toilet the door slammed shut HARD. It scares me and i immediately curse the stupid f**king door. Me mum heard me and ask what im doing inside, and thought there's a crazy guy(im a male) in the toilet! Anyone has such experiences?

oh yes, when i listen to mp3, at first silence then suddenly very LOUD, i will start shouting and cursing the mp3, my mum thought what happened. I dont like such experiences, especially outside. Very embarrassing And whenever there's balloons in a party, especially birthdays and christmas(the most especially), i would stay in places that doesn't have balloons , such as a room or in a corner. I used to be afraid of fires, especially lanterns. But now im not. Especially during the lantern festival, i play with fires.

I freak out when a balloon gets near my head, I'll get this adrenaline rush.. my heart will pound and my ears start to "blank" out, beginning with the ear closest to the balloon. If I see someone with a balloon when lift doors open, you can be sure I'll wait for the next.

Those balloons that burst out loudly all of a sudden will give me a shock. Otherwise, I think balloons are cute.

erm can say so bah. Go yahoo type fear of balloons, alot things come up. Actually hor, it's not afraid of balloons, but afraid that it will pop! Im not afraid of balloons only, as well as gun shots, plastic bags blown up, bomb bags, sudden loud noises. This is known as Ligyrophobia.
