Singapore govt is always pretending to be a stickler for rules, pushing our good "Singapore values" with all that moralistic talk. Well now we know that these "values" go out the window once you talk about money. First, the casino decision... then, the govt allows something like this to get published (think abt it, how long did it take MICA to bring down mrbrown for daring to publish something disagreeable?). Sure, IMF = alot of opportunities to net the big fi$h, but this is really, really bad taste.
I sure won't raise my kids (esp not daughters) in this confused, materialistic, paternal country that has not yet matured (socially). -

K, this is not a duplicate thread, but i just find it suspicious that ST Forums only printed the letters AFTER the IMF events...
I believe when ST first reported the Escort Agency and IMF was 2 weeks ago.. ST usually publishes their letters few days after the first article..
Do you think there is "divine" intervention from the top so that the letters don't get published during IMF when ppl are in Singapore?
