  IQ=(Mental age/Actual age)*100. Mental age is calculated according to the average score of various age groups. By extension, as #$%^&* points out, a score of 100 shows that you're average. At 117, you're slightly more than one standard deviation above the mean, so you've got nothing to worry about.
  
  Regardless of how old you are, the score compensates for it.
  
  If your ability stays exactly the same over the years, your IQ score will drop.
  
  Online tests are a load of bollocks, as the others have stated. If you want a decent measure, get a test like the WAIS administered by someone who's qualified.
