  Did it occur to u that the male artist hardly include people? the one above.... very nice colours... great subject matter but wait.... where's the folks?

  Somehow the first painting reminds me of Finland. Don't know why.. Does the artist have a website?

  i admire the paintings...especially the second two, and in particular the fourth one.
  
  there's an introspective, deep feeling about them.... as if you're gazing out on the streets of paris one evening, but really looking inward, inside yourself.
  
  The "color" of the paintings people mentioned isn't so much the actual color of the streets around you, but more a reflection of your own soul. (what i mean by that is how when you're mad, everything looks "red", when you're in love everything looks "pink", etc..)
  
  Note that each painting seems to have a dominant "color theme" to it, whether it's "cold wet green" or "deep warm orange-red" or "light sky blue", that affects the entire feeling of the piece.

  Can't say I appreciate his works.
  His style looks like Post Impressionism fused with some other style to me and maybe deep down inside I'm a sadist because the 2nd and 4th picture looks scary to me
  
  Although he uses bright colours liberally for the 2nd painting, it looks like the aftermath of a blood bath with the streets bathe in blood coz the shadows seem to be engulfing the brightness
  
  As for the 4th picture it looks like the great fire of london
