Which Banks Offers High Interest Rates For NON-FIXED Deposit

  Anyone here knows which banks offer higher interest rates, (unlike uob, posb, dbs who offers 0.25% only...)
  
  What's the minimum deposits?
  
  I searched Citibank and Standard Chartered but it doesn't state interest rates for normal bankings in their webbies...
  
  Your help is very much appreciated...

  I've checked HSBC webby, they're offering 0.125%! They only offer higher rates for time deposits...
  
  Yawn... Banks... Anymore suggestions?

  think for maybank isavvy , 2.28- 2.38% must be deposited for at least six mths to get the higher rate. note the interest are half yearly rated.
  
  std chart need to deposit 50,000 to get the higher rate. IInterest is daily rated.
  
  Both got no min amt to start acct
  
  Maybank gifs atm card
  std chart gifs atm card only for deposit amt above 20k
  
  Std chart int rate lower for amt btw 0-50000
  but for amount above 50k std chart rate is beta
  
  Both of these accounts are much beta than wat the local banks are offering.
  for a start i reccommend the std chart one...
  
  I haf both of these accounts.
  
  wats the catch? Both dun gif bank pass books and statements. transactions over the counter are normally charged. Internet and phone banking encouraged
  
  Strongly recommended for pple who want to save cos they make it difficult for u to take the $$ out.

  I always wonder abt all the economy reports if economy is really improving why is that the only thing rising is transport fees...why my pay no raise and when r they gonna restate the cpf employer rates

  try rhb bank and abn amro bank.. that time i read the news advertisments.. they seems to offer higher interest rate.. not too sure also..

  1~1 percent difference for deposits makes no difference...so dun bother checking even if one offers 5 percent. ask yourself what is the principal amount you want to put into this deposit account first. to make thousands interest per annum you need to have at least $100,000.

  Highest for non-fixed, non-loan is
  FundSupermart 2.67%
  money market, no lock-in, $500 min bal and to open
  
  NTUC Income projects 3.00% but not guaranteed
  money market, no lock-in, $10K min bal and to open

  If there's any difference, it'll be at most minimal and negligible for non-fixed deposits. I'd rather go for convenience..........
