Protests and Freedom of Speech in Singapore

This week there has been a lot of negative publicity around the world about how the Singapore Government has blocked some of the Civil Society groups from coming here. Suntec City is covered with fences and barbed wire, and all of the taxi drivers have been specially trained to not bring 'potential protesters' anywhere near the IMF meetings. All of it is very embarassing.

The space provided for the CSO to protest during the IMF/WB meet is too small.
Only 50 sq m. My three-room flat is 68 sq m. So you can see how small it is.
Furthermore no car provided to overturn and smash, and also no glass windows to smash.
By the way over 70% of the CSOs proposals are accepted by those tua hoot.
I think this will be the first and the last time that IMF/WB will hold a meeting here. -
Petition for what? You will go protest meh?
Even if they allow protest, dunno what will happen to you after you protest. Just sit back and watch the wayang.
