Guys..How will u feel when u worked for this particular company for quite some years and worked you way up to some managerial position..But for some reasons, u got to leave the company and do your own stuff..Is not that u done anything wrong or what..Just had to leave..But few years later, u returned to the company and now they ask u to start from the beginning again..
Felt like being demoted and unappreciated for all the years of effort right??How will you feel?? -

I would feel disappointed of course. Afterall, I did make my contributions to the company. I even stood up for higher position. If my return requires me to work from scratch, then I feel that the boss never appreciate my hardwork.
On the bright side, there's plenty of opportunity outside. I can always look for other company who gives me a more promising offer. -

Even if you have helped your company to earn a million dollars before, that will be in the past. They won't because of what you have contributed in the past to determine your values in the present or future.
I've talked to a Regional Sales Manager of a established MNC before. He asked his director if he was able to gurantee his job for the next 5 years after he has contributed so much. The answer is NO -
erm you must be glad that the management let you rejoin the company.
