In your case, the boy is at fault in my opinion, not only was he rude, he could have caused injury to someone by cycling on a pedestrian walkway. Whatever that have wheels should remain on the road, unless he is willing to walk his bicycle (which he is supposed to do on a pavement anyway...).
However, I'm sure there are some nice young people out there... (but certainly, not this kid... Hump!)

That young boy must be uneducated. He wasn't polite in his talking and he wasn't aware that riding his bike around near people may cause accident. The least he could do is honk or say 'excuse me'. This type of people should go for personality check. You have to the right to be angry by this situation and you did the right thing by not fighting back. -
People, for your information, there are NO specific laws or rules that state that bicyles should be ridden on the roads or pavements... This is the grey area for cyclists...

but nowadays i do see more and more teenagers acting like that... mostly little sec 1 or 2 boys from the 'less well known' schools who think they're really cool. -

I heck care them, coz on 1 handle is my 6-pack coke i just bought then the other handle is my ta pao dinner, i just ram through them. Lol, the coke hit the mother, damn shiok.

Sometimes, we ring they dun care, we dun ring we at fault, we ring too much u say we kp. Lol, best thing to do? Fuk care just ram! -

firstly u and ur friends are in the wrong by walking in 1 straight line.
and since u say that there is still space are for 1 person to pass.
this will mean 6 people can walk on the road/passageway in 1 straight line.
that is a very wide path.
and i dont see the reason why u and ur friends are walking in ONE STRAIGHT line.
if u claim that those teens are not being courteous enough, then you are not being considerate yourself.
and adding to the fact that ur friend actually shouted back at them, i guess both parties are quits.
therefore dont push all the blame to the two teenagers, you guys r in the wrong as well.
oh ya and lastly, please dont condemn the whole big group of teenagers in this world just because of these few black sheeps. -
Its more and more 'normal' nowadays.
If this thing ever happend to me, i can say that the guy will be in deep sh!t. Be it i am alone or with friends.
Not to say youngster. middle age man got this kind of problem too... i was going drawing cash at a ATM one day and i was behide one person that was already there. So i Q behide him. when he is done, i start walking in, andd suddenly from the other side of the ATM came out a middle age guy in his 30-40. He went straight to the ATM.
Then i politly tell him that i was in the Q and ask if he could line up.
Guess what, he tell me DUN TALK COCK LA.
damn.. ii was super pissed and F him upside down. lucky i din got into a fight with him. -
yah. Especially if you're running for all you can to board a train that is going to arrive / had arrived upstairs. Esp with a bunch of fat barrel type asses slowly walking and blocking your way yah. I hate it when I'm rushing for work, then at the walking pavement of the shophouses, there's these group of aunties blocking our way by stopping to look at the "pasar malam" stalls outside the shophouse. Or simply more irritating.. these round aunties walk left when you walk left trying to overtake them.. walk right when you walk right.. and in the end still blocking your way with their slow walking and pushing their shopping carts to market. Arghh.. simply irritating. They no need to work and rush like siao to reach workplace punctuality leh. i was at the mrt station walking up the stairs to the platform den hor
got these 2 lady walking in front of mi they very @#$% up one
the train which i was going to board come liao hor den i was trying to walk faster n overtake the both of them but the problem is they are @#$% big size both of them standing side by side already take up 3/4 of the width of the stairs liao den i try to overtake them by using the remaining 1/4 of the stairs but cannot cause ppl whu just came out of the train is using then i kindly ask them to excuse mi but they talk talk talk talk all the way
then when they almost reach the platform liao they see the train ( the one which i was going to board) they faster run n try to catch tt train but the run so slow i behind cannot overtake them then they squeeze their way through the beeline of passengers whu have just alighted from the train n sumhow manage to board the train then mi behind see the door closing liao den neva chiong wtf
realli hope tt door sandwich those 2 sia then i can take tt time n slowli into the train -
hahaha! ya lor, these aunties are irritating sometimes.. so inconsiderate to be blocking the whole escalators, walkway or stairs with their XXXXXXL sizes, when say "excuse me excuse meEEEEE they won't bother also.. wonder is because they didn't dig their ear waxes? Or because simply they have the selfish mindset "not my problem what". They're so irritating especially when we're rushing for time and train has arrived or coming in the next sec. Oh ya, I hate it when the whole of left side on the upgoing escalator is full, and suddenly there's one extra on the right side of the escalator. That fellow never read the "keep left" sign when go up? last time me at bus 1 group of malay blast music with their speaker like siao sitting centre of double deck then leg open big big blocking the walking aisle of bus. . first incident 1 old man pass by lose balance and accidently rub their leg the guy like siao scold old man old dont wan walk up sit la later fall to death. second incident is an poor ah mo, he kindly ask them to reduce their volume with a smile some more but the group push the ah mo to the back and wan to beat him up then some guy on bus no happy block them they then stop. Btw this group is goin to east coast i think their face at most sec 3 or 4 onli.... -
