You know I had been knowing this girl for some time already... She was young sweet and active... I don't really like quiet and introvert kinda people... She may not be the most beautiful of them all but she looks quite ok.. very nice infact... but what really mesmerises me is her personality... I thinks she is a very nice person to be with... I had always been noticing her... trying to be some where near her doing work or what... and she had always been friendly and nice to me... I felt that I'm in love with her... but recently... I saw her again... she saw me but I felt like she is very paiseh to see me... suddenly then friendliness among us has gone... although when our eyes meet we smiled at each other... but I still felt something is different... why? Did I do something wrong? Did I gave her the wrong signal that I have nothing for her? Or what...? In a way I really like to know her more... in another I am fearful that she wouldn't accept me... also I'm scare that people will not accept us together.... you see she is just 12 year old... kidding haha I caught you... anyway I'm not a pedo... she is much older lah but just we have a 7-8 year old age gap... hmmm .... how...? She is not 12y.o if you still don't get it the last part.

You fell in love? I don't think so. It's more likely an infatuation which wouldn't last long. You may think that she's the right girl right now but it's all in your imagination. Trust me.
I'd say try to act normal and treat her like she's your good friend. Get to know her better and see if you both have that chemistry.
As for age, it doesn't matter if both parties are comfortable with each other. -
