i learn IT but much of it is old stuff by the time I get out of school...Originally posted by ndmmxiaomayi:Not that true... especially in specialized fields. Basics still apply, advanced stuff are to make life simpler.
When you tok abt old stuff do you refer to specific software tool and programming language? If that is the case indeed it get obsolete fast BUT computing fundamentals still remain. Algorithm and data structures are still being used in newer languages and software tools. These are what I called IT fundamentals that have yet to change muchOriginally posted by mistyblue:i learn IT but much of it is old stuff by the time I get out of school...![]()

H3 art
H2 math
H2 chemistry
H1 physics
H1 GP
one H3 subject seems good but thats not my real concern.
my problem is with H1 physics.
is taking H1 physics pointless? because since theres already a H2 chem it makes more sense to do 2 H2 sciences. also, most of the science related courses like engineering dental medicine and etc need the student to have at least 2 H2 sciences.
i need some advice haha. jc students of the new syllabus! gather and enlighten me!
True, programming language is out of date pretty fast...Originally posted by sohguanh:When you tok abt old stuff do you refer to specific software tool and programming language?
