  wat u mean? Animated gif issit? I use Imageready. Hehe sister software of Photoshop.

  Paintbrush. Can save it as .GIF format in the "save as" Window.

  If animated gif, you can use Macromedia Flash, when you save, save it as a gif.
  
  If it's normal gif, use can use ImageReady, it's together with Photoshop I think.
  
  There are also free alternatives like GIMP and Paint.Net.

  o i tot u referring to only stagnant pictures to be tranformed into .GIF formats. Erm if didn't remember wrongly you can use Macromedia to compile and add in animation. Used to do it 6 years ago.. so long never touch now forgot liao.

  Google making animated gif.
  
  Photoshop can do it also, but I'm not too sure how.
