For the IMF... some Fireworks Grand Finale show lasting 10 minutes, started at 9.50pm at the IR site at Marina Bay.

our dear gahmen purposely never publicise this fireworks show because they scared that kiasu sillyporeans will spoil the 'beautiful' image of our city.
btw, tonite's show was comparable to the ones for fireworks festival, and its even better because there was absolutely NO crowd! -
it was a very nice private event, which was hosted by SM Goh Chok Tong. Got a lot free food there, all cultural foods, laksa, mee siam, chilli crab, chicken rice, chao kuay teow, u name it u have it... best of all there was a special performance of the Forbidden City, FOC... it's really a gud show, should go see it. There was even free river cruise ride but nv got to ride in it, coz queue too long. Lastly the Fireworks, no crowd to squeeze into, the foreigners were like 'wowing' thru out the whole display of fireworks, but really quite nice. Singapore really very smart to hold such an event for the IMF, promote it's culture thru such events. Thumbs up...

But afterall quite nice, eat and enjoy the firework at the same time!!
