Really sick of working sometimes, hope really to open own business, how about food business, isit good now? like small shop selling mee , nasi lemak for breakfast? any tips, how abt retail selling cloths, which sells better? thanks alot.really hope 1 day to open own business, be own boss, how does that feels is it better, safer, earn or not?

hawker business ah.... u need to be prepared for..
1) long hours
2) lots of hard labour for cooking and cleaning
3) hardly any days off esp public holidays and weekends got the most customers
4) And unless you selling ONLY at night, you probably got to wake up early too. -
If u r sick of working because of the long hours or your boss, then u better not start your own biz because it looks simple only but it's actually not easy at all. Especially for s,all business when u have little or no resources to employ staff, u may be the boss but u have to o everything by yourself - For food biz, it's 24/7 man! No rest. No entertainment. No life! And every each one of yr customer is yr boss! If u have experience, mebbe u can cope better but otherwise, u have to be prepared to just devote all yr time to your biz and nothing else for at least 3-4 years..........
Still nothing to stop u from betting a taste of having yr own business. If u think u have wad it takes, good luck........!

above all, make sure its not from ur hard earned money that ur starting. what IF it fails?
You could be worse off that where u probably are rite now, not that i'm being a wet blanket. Must be prepared for the worse

I know this guy who used to work as an architect, got sick of working, so he quit and opened his own business, but failed, now he selling chicken rice. He say he wish he didn't quit in the first place just coz he felt sick of working. Sometimes better to just eat humble pie.

u think business is simply. it is hard need a lot of capital and others. i try before but luckly get out in time to recoup the losses

i wun tik of setting up a business unless i am filthy rich, too much money to spend.. if i really have a business, i think i will more likely to be the sleeping partner.. just invest and get my returns every yr end..

in sg, set up business is a dead end. NTUC will come and steal your idea and make it cheap and sell it low...

really ah so so bad????? cos thinking of it, just a small neighbourhod shop selling nasi lemak, fried noodles thats all, hope to clear up by 2pm. and go back. just thinking of earning a bit, not too gre=edy. how much is the rental anyway for a small shop, i really crazy of being my own boss, besides food what elsse is good to be own boss? i see food shop alwasy got ppl and business.
